The passion for aromatic varieties of Southern Piedmont led Borgo Maragliano to acquire a company in the heart of Brachetto in 2011, in the province of Alessandria, where the soil composition is calcareous-clay with hints of silt.

This Brachetto Piemonte Frizzante DOC carries with it all the beauty of these hills touched by the breeze of the Marin blowing from the south.

Features

Composition: 100% Brachetto clone Migliardi. The grapes were grown at 290 meters above sea level on a slope of 22% with a south-west exposure. Actual alcohol content 6.0 % vol. Potential alcohol content 8.5 % vol. Overall alcohol content 14.5 % vol.

Brachetto Piemonte DOC Borgo Maragliano 750ml: use in the kitchen

The Brachetto Piemonte Frizzante DOC can accompany desserts and goes exceptionally well with fresh fruit. It should be served at a temperature between 8° and 10°C in crystal glasses.

Tasting

A ruby purple red, with fragrances of wild rose and strawberry, floral and musky with sensations of berries. A balanced aromatic sip with an intense flavor and balsamic notes. Unique is the olfactory perception of “nutmeg”.
