The candied fruit mostarda by Corrado Benedetti is a new product every time: depending on the season, the varieties of fruits that we can candy change, so if the label says “mixed fruit,” expect many tasty and colorful surprises.
Corrado Benedetti brings back a true classic of cuisine, offering a great mix of flavors and colors.
The mixed fruit is worked by hand. Sliced, it is placed inside containers with sugar and left to rest in a cell for 24 hours. The next day, the syrup that has formed is extracted and boiled; while hot, it is poured over the fruit and left to rest for another 24 hours. This process is repeated for four days. At the end of the fourth day, the now caramelized fruit is jarred with the extracted syrup, to which drops of mustard essence are added. The mustard is then pasteurized and put up for sale.

This candied mustard has a strong flavor and is therefore the perfect accompaniment for a good mixed grill: salamelle, pancetta, ribs, chops and, why not, also cured meats or aged cheeses.
It is recommended to mix well before serving.

Taste: sweet and pronounced; the crunchiness of the apples is pleasant.
Store in a cool and dry place. After opening, keep in the refrigerator and consume soon.
