The Pancetta Arrotolata al Pepe Nero from Salumificio Pavoncelli is a delicious aged salami made from national pig pancetta, seasoned and flavored by hand. It is then rolled, tied, and coated with black pepper on the surface, and stuffed into natural casing.
The pancetta arrotolata al pepe nero has a red color with leaner parts alternating with white strips of fat.
The darker color compared to other types of pancetta is due to the presence of black pepper, a spice that helps to stimulate metabolism and thermogenesis, thus helping to burn more calories and counteract fat accumulation.
