The Paccucce di Colmurano are a traditional product derived from the agricultural history of the Maceratese region. They are pink apples from the Sibillini Mountains Slow Food Presidio dehydrated in a moderately warm oven, then soaked in cooked wine and preserved in glass jars.
The Marchigian agricultural company Le Spiazzette aims to revive this ancient and traditional recipe for preserving pink apples to rediscover this delicious and fragrant work of art from nature in the Sibillini Mountains.
The pink apple of the Sibillini has always been cultivated in the Marche above 450 meters in altitude. The peculiar climatic conditions of the Sibillini Mountains, primarily the daily and seasonal temperature variations, positively influence the organoleptic characteristics of the product, making it unique and absolutely different from fruit grown in the plains. For more than ten years, the pink apple of the Sibillini has been a Slow Food Presidio.

The Paccucce di Colmurano from the Azienda Agricola Le Spiazzette are excellent to enjoy on their own for a sweet end to your meal.
They can also be used to create special desserts or paired with some aged cheese.
