The Bio Gluten-Free Rice and Quinoa Penne by Pasta d'Alba are a tempting and fun idea to bring to the table for a healthy first course, completely organic and gluten-free. This pasta is made with rice flour, rich in B vitamins, especially B6, B3, B2, and B1, followed by vitamin E, fiber, and minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc. It also has a low lipid content, making it particularly suitable for low-fat diets, but it also has a quite high amount of protein. Additionally, it contains a smaller percentage of quinoa flour, a natural source of iron, protein, and high in phosphorus.
Pasta d'Alba slowly dries its product at low temperature for 16-18 hours to allow the pasta to have important organoleptic characteristics and valuable nutrients. The resulting pasta is nutritious and more digestible.

The Gluten-free BIO Rice and Quinoa Penne from Pasta d'Alba, to truly appreciate the flavor of the flour, we recommend enjoying them with just a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, preferably Sicilian. Alternatively, they can be paired with sauces that have a delicate flavor, especially with fish, particularly shellfish. However, they are also very good with seasonings that have a bit more oriental note like meat and spiced vegetables.
