The Grifo Nero Pinot Nero from Cantine Russolo is a high-quality red wine, produced with extraordinary grapes grown in the Armentaressa vineyard, located at the edge of an area under environmental protection, cultivated in the wide, flat area of San Quirino, a small municipality in the province of Pordenone in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
This wine is characterized by a not too deep red color which, in some vintages, may also appear not
particularly intense. The aroma is delicate and features very complex fruity aromatic notes that evolve after aging into quite particular nuances reminiscent of wood, tar, and vanilla. The taste, on the other hand, is soft and velvety, presenting an excellent structure.
Alcohol content: 12.5-13% vol.
The Grifo Nero Pinot Nero from Cantine Russolo is ideal for pairing with both white meats and red meats. It is also really excellent with fresh cheeses. The ideal service temperature is around 18-20° C, and the recommended type of glass is a ballon with a wide bowl and convex walls that concentrate and enhance the aromas.
