The Cantabrian Anchovies "00" in Sunflower Oil from Casa Santoña are truly extraordinary! They are prepared according to tradition, meaning they are crafted as they used to be, by hand.
They are a product of the highest quality, made only with the best anchovies caught exclusively in the Cantabrian Sea. In the production process, every batch is given the necessary care to obtain an impeccable anchovy: long, shiny, and without bones, with a delicate aroma, meaty and smooth texture, and an intense yet simultaneously elegant flavor.
These are the largest anchovies in the Casa Santoña range: the thickness and size of their fillets allow for the best appreciation of their flavor. Inside the 100 g package, the drained weight of the product is approximately 60 g for 8 anchovy fillets, making an average weight of 7.5 g per fillet, whereas in more common products, the weight of the fillet is around 3/3.5 g.
The Spanish company Casa Santoña, for three generations now, has treated its products just as they did over a century ago, offering a genuine product that is at the same time a guarantee of quality and respect for traditions.
