La Poiana Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG 2016 is a wine that tells the story of the passion that the farm Il Molinaccio has for vineyards, nature, and the Tuscan countryside. It is a noble wine not too alcoholic, aged in Allier French oak barrels, allowing to enhance all the freshness of its bouquet.
Il Molinaccio di Montepulciano was established in March 2012, a farm closely tied to the Tuscan territory and environmental respect. For this reason, the names of its vintages refer to local animal species.
Grapes: Sangiovese
Vinification: steel tanks without the use of selected yeasts, controlled temperature maceration lasting 20/25 days.
Aging: 24 months in Allier French oak barrels. It rests in the bottle for at least 12 months.

Olfactory sensations: The nose opens with notes of mature dark fruit, such as plum and sour cherry, then continuing with tertiary notes of spices and tobacco.
Taste: cherry in spirits, ripe plum, myrtle, mint chocolate, truffle, and iron notes.
