Siresol Verona IGT 2015 by Jako Wine is a harmonious and highly aromatic red wine, ideal for pairing with red meats.
Grape Variety: Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, Croatina, Cabernet
Terroir: the soil is located on the hills of the Veronese area, between 100 and 350 meters above sea level. It is predominantly clayey and occasionally calcareous. The training system includes a double Veronese pergola. The vines in production are between 20 and 25 years old, with a density of 2,700 vines per hectare and a yield per hectare of 60 hl.
Harvesting period: end of September.
The harvest is carried out strictly by hand.
The grapes undergo appassimento for 60 days to achieve significant concentration. After destemming, they are gently pressed. The fermentation temperature is 25° C.
The maceration lasts for 10 days, with pumpovers three times a day. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine ages in wood for a minimum of 2 years, part in large 50 hL Slavonian oak barrels and the other part in 225-liter French oak barriques with different toasting levels.
Total acidity: 5.6 g/l.
Longevity: 6-8 years
Alcohol content: 16% vol.
Siresol Verona IGT 2015 by Jako Wine elegantly and pleasantly complements every type of braised or grilled red meat.
It is excellent with aged cheeses.
It should be served at a temperature of 16-18° C
Ruby red color streaked with hints of garnet red.
The diverse aroma presents notes of vanilla and cherry. The full, harmonious, and velvety flavor culminates with a slightly spicy note.
