Dried Amarone Pomace Grappa

This grape brandy is obtained from freshly toasted Amarone pomace and left to ferment for a very short time before passing to the alembic for slow distillation. Young and dry, the final alcohol content of this grappa is 44°.

This is a very good after-dinner grappa with a refined persistent taste, to be enjoyed with company or even alone in front of the fireplace. The Amarone in a dry white grappa offers beautiful sensations of undergrowth, red fruits in spirit, and a pleasant balsamic freshness.

CURIOSITIES

The greatest distillers unanimously agree that the finest grappas, the most difficult to produce, are the dry whites. They are products of style where even the slightest mistake during production is noticeable.

Dried Amarone Pomace Grappa: use in the kitchen

Ideal at the end of a meal. It could be a great accompaniment for very aged cheeses with an advanced degree of fermentation, especially of goat origin. Fantastic also with flavored chocolate. In Mantuan tradition, it is also used to directly moisten the typical dessert Sbrisolona, to enhance its enjoyment.

It is pleasantly cherry-like with a fine aroma and a good persistence. An excellent taste that pairs perfectly with a good hot coffee and aromatic, to soak some candied fruit or to strengthen some cream gelato.
