The Soave Danieli has a natural freshness like few others. It comes from pure Garganega grapes, a portion of which are harvested late and then left to dry for 40 days. The vineyards are located in the small village of Terrossa di Roncà, under the ancient dormant volcano of Calvarina at an altitude of about 200 meters. This period slightly dehydrates the grapes without accentuating the sensation of drying in the wine, instead supporting all the value of the fruit. All the grapes are pressed and then the must is placed to ferment in steel tanks. The aim is to enhance the expressive potential of Garganega without taking away from its freshness and floral notes.
Alcohol 12.5 %Vol.
Great freshness of fruit and pleasant floral notes of white flowers. White-fleshed fruit such as apple, Williams pear, plum, and white-fleshed peach. It also features a beautiful presence of fresh aromatic herbs, sage, and nettle. On the palate, it is savory and salty with a nice fruity note and a delicately smooth finish typical of Garganega: very fresh and mineral.
Pairing. Ideal for quality aperitifs paired with raw fish and fine cured meats from Italian tradition. Excellent with vegetable-based risottos, nettle, pumpkin, asparagus, and bruscandoli. It can also be paired with locally aged cheeses like Monte Veronese Mezzano DOP and Asiago DOP Mezzano. We recommend it with a grilled sea bass or a great seafood dish.
Serving temperature: 8 - 10°C
