Walking along the Vigneto Monte Sant'Urbano is a spectacle! You can admire on the right the beautiful valley of Fumane and on the left the gentle valley of Marano. On a tongue of fire, volcanic peat mixed with active limestone and fossil sandstone infiltrations. A mythical soil that produces some of the greatest wines of the denomination. This Valpolicella Superiore is an emblem of elegance and rigor. An expression of rare finesse that conveys all the stylistic power of the territory and its gentle balance.
A thick and spicy cherry with a seductive Gallic complexity that offers delicate sensations of sweet toasting. A striking and typical fruit. The grape blend is the typical one from the Speri family, 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 10% Molinara and other indigenous varieties. The vineyard is situated at an elevation of about 300 m/a.s.l.
Alcohol. 13.5% Vol.
Pairing. Grilled red meats, Fassona Piemontese or Romagnola cuts. Excellent with the classic boiled beef from Veneto or with boiled Chianina IGP meat. With Chianina IGP meat, it’s also great with hamburgers or tartare served raw. We also recommend it for aged cheeses like Vezzena Vecchio.
