Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely through mechanical processes.
The base oil is extra virgin and of Italian origin. The aroma is heated in the oil to about 40 - 60 degrees for a few minutes in order to extract only the essential oils and not to destroy the integrity of the oil's fragrances.
Basil is of Ligurian origin. Great for seasoning pasta with tomato. Pleasant also on margherita pizza and pesto pasta.
