The black olive cream from Redoro is made exclusively with Italian olives - sourced from Umbria - softened and processed with Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
It was the first to certify a DOP oil in Veneto. Daniele Salvagno leads it today with great dynamism and passion, making it one of the main olive oil companies in Italy. It remains, however, a family-run business... Go to the Redoro sheet
Black olive pulp (90%), EVO oil (6%), salt, acidity regulator: citric acid.
The cream or pâté is particularly flavorful and ideal for crostini, for grissini and other dry baked products to be prepared as an appetizer or aperitif on any day of the week.
On an evening with friends, we recommend warming some slices of bread (Tuscan if you prefer without salt or even our Molisano), once warmed, cut it into small cubes and then prepare 4 variations:
a. black olive cream
b. pâté of spring onions
c. Sicilian red pesto
4. and then - to impress everyone - ghee with caviar
It can also be used to dress pasta, of course "diluted" with EVO oil.
The pairing in this case depends on the use, although for an appetizer we see it well with a sparkling wine that is more or less structured, depending on the taste.
Shelf life: 18 months
Once opened, store in the refrigerator (if there are leftovers!).
