Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG - Torre d'Orti

The Torre d'Orti was the highest point of the hills in the Montorio (VR) valley, where a watchtower still stands today for territory control. This also indicates the particular position of this vineyard: ventilated and well-exposed at about 350 meters above sea level.

Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella are the grapes used for this product. The lands rest on a plateau of limestone rock and fossil marl mixed with sandstone.

A wine of great structure, exciting, complex in aromas, with excellent freshness and a distinctive tannic sensation. For discerning palates that love structurally impactful wines. Good alcohol content and freshness that complement each other. A finish rich in fruit.

Pairing: great red meats, Chianina IGP, Piedmont Fassona, game from fur and feather. Cheeses: very aged, Parmigiano Reggiano 30 months and more, Castelmagno DOP. We also recommend it on its own at the end of the meal in meditation and in the company of a nice sweet and chocolatey cigar.
