The potato we propose comes from a selection of products from the Verona plains. River lands rich in silt and sand that give a particular aroma and compactness, along with a good richness of minerals.
It is a Primura type potato with a smooth and shiny yellow skin and yellow and floury flesh. Extremely versatile in the kitchen.
Yellow-fleshed potatoes have a good firmness during cooking. They are ideal for making Venetian gnocchi or for baking and frying. Excellent also for other preparations like sformatini and to be roasted with chicken. Superb in foil and grilled or wrapped in ash in aluminum foil.
