The potato we offer comes from a selection of products from the Verona plains. River lands rich in silt and sand that give it a special aroma and compactness, along with a good richness of minerals.
It is a potato of the Primura type with smooth and shiny yellow skin and yellow and floury flesh. Extremely versatile in the kitchen.
Yellow-fleshed potatoes have a good firmness during cooking. They are ideal for making gnocchi alla veneta or for baking and frying. Excellent also for other preparations such as little cakes and for roasting with chicken. Superb baked in foil and on the grill or wrapped in ash in aluminum foil.
