The Nebbiolo Colline Novaresi DOC from the Azienda Agricola Mirù is a high-quality red wine, produced from the extraordinary grapes grown in the vineyards located in Ghemme, a small town in the province of Novara, in Piedmont.
A small curiosity: since 1994, the municipality of Ghemme has been part of the "Cities of Wine", places carefully selected by the National Association of Cities of Wine, an institution present throughout the national territory made up of more than five hundred local Italian entities that gather all those localities that stand out for their excellent wine production.
The name of this wine derives from that of the grape variety it is made from, Nebbiolo, which seems to originate from the word "fog" precisely because of the particular late maturation of this grape, which often consequently shifts the harvest to the period of autumn fogs.
This wine is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The aroma, fine and elegant, features particular aromatic notes of ripe cherry, violet, and spices. The taste, on the other hand, is soft and balanced, with a good level of persistence.
