The Amaro del Farmacista by Farmacia Minelli is a handcrafted and digestive bitter with a pleasant aroma of bitter orange and a moderate alcohol content (27 degrees), characteristics that make it enjoyable for a large part of the palate. It can be drunk neat or on the rocks as a digestive or aperitif, but it is also used as a correction for coffee.

For its preparation, 5 herbs are used that mainly perform digestive functions, appetite stimulation, and bile production. They also have a beneficial effect on postprandial bloating, particularly mint (carminative).

The 5 herbs are: absinthe, mint, cinchona, gentian, and bitter orange.
