The Marinated Char is a high-quality fish, delicious and with an intense flavor. This fish is marinated in vinegar, Nosiola wine from the Valle dei Laghi, sweet salt from Cervia, fair trade brown sugar from Ecuador, and pink pepper. The alpine char is processed by Trota Oro and originates from Western Europe, with more than 20 subspecies existing.
The meat of the Char is very lean, firm, and delicate with a strong flavor. It comes from the mountain lakes of Trentino Alto Adige and is a fish that grows very slowly due to the very low water temperatures.
The Trotta Oro Marinated Char is a delicious fish ready to eat as it is already cut into bites. Many recipes can be created with char, such as a quick pasta, a seasonal salad, or it can be seasoned with artichokes, lemon, or oranges.
