The Valpolicella DOC Superiore BIO 2018 Linea Bonfanti is a red wine made from the organic grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Croatina grown in the Valpolicella area. It is a purple-red wine aged in oak barrels, soft and structured with notes of cherry and currant.
Grape varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Croatina.
Training system: Guyot with organic cultivation.
Vineyard elevation: 350 m a.s.l.
Vinification: The ripe grapes are hand-harvested and pressed on the same day. Subsequently, the must and skins undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days. After racking, the wine remains in stainless steel for 3 months, then it is transferred to barriques where it stays for approximately 12 months. After bottling, the wine matures for another 3 months in the bottle.
Aging: Barrique - Tonneau.
Year: 2018
Alcohol content: 13% - 14% vol. depending on the vintage.
The Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore Organic Wine Bonfanti Line is an excellent red wine that pairs well with savory first courses, red meats, roasts, and white meats.
Color: Purple-red with violet reflections.
Aroma: Aroma of ripe cherry, with hints of vanilla and jam.
Taste: full, velvety, intense, harmonious, and persistent.
Serving temperature: 16°C - 18 °C
