The LR Alto Adige Bianco Riserva DOC 2016 from Cantina Colterenzio is a prestigious cuvée created by Luis Raifer of the South Tyrolean winery Colterenzio. Produced in limited quantities, it comes from a blend of the four most important grapes in the area for the winery, including chardonnay, pinot bianco, sauvignon blanc, and gewürztraminer.
Grape variety: Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Sauvignon.
Vineyard: Selected vineyards at an altitude of 400–550 m a.s.l.
Vinification: After gentle pressing and once fermentation has taken place, the wine matures in oak barrels and remains bottled for an additional 12 months. Only after 3 years following the harvest is the wine marketed.
Aging potential: 8 - 10 years.

Taste: rich, powerful, and full-bodied sip. Supported by notable freshness, it develops pleasantly with delicate spicy and fruity notes, with a great harmonic and persistent finish.
