The Due Rosso Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon by Cantine Russolo is a high-quality red wine, produced with an extraordinary blend of Merlot (84%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (16%) grapes cultivated in the winegrowing areas located in the wide flat region of San Quirino, a small municipality in the province of Pordenone in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
This wine is characterized by a deep red color with purple reflections. The aroma is fruity and evokes raspberry, blackberry, and woodland fruits in general. The taste is pleasantly winey, harmonious, and has a good fullness on the palate; the soft tannins also allow this wine to be enjoyed chilled.
Alcohol content: 12-12.5% vol.
The Due Rosso Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon from Cantine Russolo is ideal for an aperitif but also to accompany excellent platters of cured meats. It is truly great with important first courses characterized by a particularly rich condiment. Finally, it pairs perfectly with grilled meat. The ideal serving temperature is around 16-18° C, and the recommended type of glass is a bulbous glass that narrows significantly towards the rim.
