Chartron et Trébuchet is a company founded in 1984 in Puligny-Montrachet, in the Cote de Beaune, and owes its reputation for excellence to its great skills in winemaking, aging, and bottling of the great wines of Burgundy.
The Gevrey Chambertin produced by Chartron et Trebouchet is a very elegant, strong, and rich red wine. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, it has a ruby red color that darkens as it ages. The aromas that emerge are strawberry, blackberry, violet, and rose, while in more mature wines, a pleasant bouquet of licorice, leather, and underbrush will develop.
This wine pairs wonderfully with grilled red meats with intense flavors, lamb, beef bourguignon, game, rabbit, but also with strong cheeses with a very intense and decisive taste.
