The Perlé Zero Trento DOC Cuvée Zero12 from Ferrari Trento fully expresses the essence of mountain Chardonnay. It is a mosaic of vintages that pushes the refined art of creating cuvées to the extreme: steel enhances the fruit and aromatic elegance of Chardonnay, wood provides structure and taste richness, while glass lends expressiveness and depth that make this Trentodoc unique and irresistible.

Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
Production Area: Family-owned mountain vineyards of the Lunelli family at the foothills of the Trentino mountains.
Production Characteristics: each cuvée of Ferrari Perlé Zero, named after the year of bottling, is a mosaic of previously aged vintages in steel, wood, or glass (2006, 2008, 2009, 2010). Once bottled, the cuvée matures for a minimum of 6 years on selected yeasts from proprietary cultures.

The Perlé Zero Trento DOC Cuvée Zero12 by Ferrari Trento is a sparkling wine for special occasions to accompany grand dinners, but it is also perfectly suited as an aperitif or alongside fried dishes, seafood appetizers, salmon tartare, tempura, and crepes.

Tasting

Visual examination: Yellow with golden hues displays fine and persistent bubbles in the glass.
Olfactory: Its character is clearly linked to the great expression of Chardonnay, revealing citrus notes and hints of white flowers accompanied by marine sensations. Fresh notes of mountain herbs and subtle spicy hints then emerge in the glass.
Taste: The entry on the palate, initially soft and enveloping, soon gives way to a distinct savory note that ultimately reveals a finish with hints of dried fruit and aromatic herbs.
