This Recioto di Soave DOCG Luna Nova from Cantina Corte Mainente is a wine that originates from the Veronese tradition in drying the grapes. The clusters of Garganega give rise to this excellent product.

The production of this type of wine takes place through Garganega grape clusters, harvested in the best pergola-cultivated vineyards, which are left to rest on special "arele" for 5/6 months. During the natural drying process, noble mold develops on some of the berries, giving the Recioto its unmistakable aroma and noble velvety taste. The winter cold accompanies the fermentation, and the Recioto is then skillfully left to mature in the cellar until the following year.
Corte Mainente is located near the Scaligero Castle of Soave. The winery produces, in just over 10 hectares, particularly interesting wines with a distinct personality. Go to the Cantina Corte Mainente page

Recioto di Soave DOCG Luna Nova appears golden yellow that shifts towards amber. The nose offers wide sensations of candied fruit, crème brûlée, vanilla, lavender, and walnut. Very powerful and sweetly concentrated in the mouth, where the length and balance also rely on the freshness that, in the background, guides the gustatory depth.
