The radicchio is a vegetable typical of the Veneto region and is divided into the sweet veronese or Chioggia variety, round and red with white streaks. Or the thicker trevigiano spadone, normally more bitter, and suitable for grilling. Fontana BIO has harvested its typical radicchios from Verona and put them into this very delicate cream that is particularly rich in flavor and natural. This radicchio has diuretic and digestive properties, low calorie levels, notable protein content, and a high rate of potassium, phosphorus, and calcium.

This radicchio cream is so pure that it should be eaten directly on a nice slice of warm bread with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. It also goes well with slightly toasted bread and shavings of Asiago DOP or Monte Veronese DOP. An excellent base for creamy risottos made with Vialone Nano IGP. For the classic Veronese risotto with Red Radicchio and Monte Veronese DOP. This cream is also ideal for stuffing tortelli or ravioli.
