The Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Il Bottaccio is a blend with a light fruity flavor, obtained from mature olives expertly harvested at the right time. A mix of selected Italian cultivars designed to unleash balanced aromas and fragrances.
The Classic is a yellow extra virgin oil with green reflections, which presents itself as light, harmonious, and balanced, with notes of ripe olive.
Supply chain guarantee: this oil is produced with olives grown and harvested on the company’s premises, in the coastal area of the province of Livorno.
To obtain high-quality oils, Il Bottaccio carries out a manual and/or semi-manual harvesting with particular attention to the selection of olives and the pressing times, ensuring that no more than 8 hours pass from harvesting.

The culture of olive oil and high-quality products has been part of the Guglielmi family for several generations, and Luca is now the guardian of this important tradition that began in 1925 with grandfather Ermelindo. We are in Tuscany, in a hilly area, but just a short distance from the sea and the famous cypress trees of Bolgheri: it is here that Il Bottaccio stands with its olive trees and oil mill.
