The name recalls Prince Amedeo of Savoy who was wounded in 1866 during the Third War of Independence at Cavalchina, as evidenced by the slate monument placed at the entrance of the company. Garganega 40%, Fernanda 30% (clone of Cortese), Trebbianello 15% (clone of Tocai), Trebbiano Toscano 15%.
It is a complex wine that expresses a beautiful fruity and mineral sensation with a floral pleasantness that leads to white flowers and sweet spices. Exotic variations and dried fruit. Wide palate rich in white and yellow fruit. Great freshness and especially salinity. Finish of hazelnut and almond milk.
Alcohol 13.5% Vol.
Pairing. Wine for first courses based on fish and white meat. Also suitable for roasted chicken and turkey, and for rabbit. Pleasant also with Roman-style lamb and Brescia-style spit. Medium-aged cheeses and knife-cut meat. With penne in Chianina IGP sauce.
